GoToMeeting is simple and elegant, yet powerful. It offers you numerous advantages found with higher priced options, but retains its lower price point. While you will find few unnecessary extras included with the program, it does well in areas of quality and performance. GoToMeeting also offers plenty of support if you find you’re having trouble with the system.
GoToMeeting offers cross-browser functionality, to ensure that all meeting participants are included fully. It also features multi-platform support for different computer operating systems. However, for all of those advanced features, it remains simple and easy to use, able to be launched with a single click of the mouse.
You will also find incredible top-down integration with GoToMeeting that is often lacking with other solutions. Integration with Lotus Notes and MS Office is yet another high point. However, GoToMeeting does not have the most robust video integration, though its audio functionality is superior to any other on the market.

Yugma – A True Contender
While there are numerous other web conferencing platforms out there, Yugma comes in with some decent options and good overall functionality. The program features free teleconferencing, as well as Skype integration. It is also compatible across numerous platforms and allows keyboard and mouse sharing. Unlike GoToMeeting, Yugma does have a whiteboard feature, as well.
However, Yugma does have a few drawbacks not found with GoToMeeting. For instance, it has seriously limited video conferencing capabilities and does not support webcams at all. It also has a limited support base. Yugma has only been around for a relatively short period of time, so the program certainly has some maturing to do.

While Yugma does offer some decent capabilities, it is not as developed as GoToMeeting. While GoToMeeting remains a simple, no-frills program, it has all the functionality required to host conferences, meetings, training sessions and seminars. In addition, GoToMeeting offers better support, through a much wider variety of options, such as VoIP support, email, chat, a FAQ page and other options.
